screw the steelies! i just put on falken ze329's and they work great. i think they cost me $470 and they stick pretty well.
for those that don't want 4 different sets of rims per season. look at this tire. it's worth the money.

For some you may be right. For me 1 set of Volks new take offs for less then $175.00 picked up and no mounting and balancing. = makes sense if you have room for storage and like a real good bang for the buck.

Default IG10s on 2 inches of ice

So we finally got snow and after 200 miles on the IG10s I have a few coments.

Pros- tires are very soft and grip well on ice (we had about two inches in areas), these tires allowed me to drive on ice and snow as I would normally drive on dry pavement.

Cons- Not sure whether it is the sidewall of the 15 compared to the 17 or the tire but these things float considerably. The car will sashay when changing lanes and corning.

I am very satified with this package and love the way it drives on ice and snow.

They dont seem to have a tire that has a 60 sidewall so i was wondering if that would work. thanks

ya I found out the hard way that you have to buy lugs with the tire and wheel combo. The uniques are thin and the stock lugs are to short.

wow those pics were amazing... tons of snow

im closer to the city in NY and we got hit but nothing like that. BTW driving on stock tires in anytype of snow sucks big time, i had to stay around 25-30 mph on the highway even if it was empty

Wink

I have the new Dunlop Wintersport D3 205/50/17s on my stock rims... I'm not a big fan's for the Dunlop summer tire's, but in the snow tire... They making awesome performance tire! Most of the time, I don't drive to much in the snow with my car... But a nice winter day? Why not!

I have the same tire in my winter car Volvo S60 T5 also, and so far they are the best winter tire I drove...
