Default Looking for some light weight 15x7 drag wheels

I am in the market for some light weight 15x7 drag wheels to mount some Mickey Thompson 24.5x8.5x15 slicks on for under $150. I notice there are some wheels like the Motegi tracklites that are $200, but I don't want to spend that much. I know there used to be Kosei's, but it seems like they stopped making them a year ago and nobody has used ones for sale in my area. What are my choices?

I believe the rotas that everyone runs are 15x7.. i forget the make of wheel. their the 5 spoke all the honda kids run. those dont weigh that much.

If you want lighter, your going to have to pony up the cash.

I wonder how much do the Rota slipstreams weigh? I don't think it says their weight on the website that I looked at.

That's not bad at all! I think I can buy the Rotas for around $130 as well.

13 lbs for a 15" wheel isn't that light. a 9-10 lb wheel is light. Just FYI if I was looking at a lightweight 15" i'd go with Motegi Tracklight 2 weigh in at 10lbs

Man I didn't read that you already excluded the tracklites from your list. I'll see about some others.

For 3 lbs lighter I'd dish out the extra 70 bucks a piece

Plus I don't think I will be able to find a lightweight wheel under 13#'s for less then 200. Saying that I would just stick with the Rotas. Cheap and somewhat light.

Thanks for the info. Yeah I would like to go with the tracklites, but I will probably end up with the Rotas, which are still much lighter than the PT steelies.
