Well, I went from Toyo T1R's that cost me $580 to these Hankooks that cost $292. I can say there isn't much difference, not $300 worth anyway. They still go up in smoke in 1st gear but 2nd grabs nicely. There isn't much road noise and they ride smooth. I noticed a little less response but other than that, it's a damn good tire for the money!
So, I think unless you're doing some serious road racing or feel the need to have "Toyo", "Goodyear", or "BFG" on your sidewalls, these Hankooks will do a VERY good job!
ive had mine since october...and mayb will last till july....i think ive put around 8000 miles on them and there pretty worn out already...i mean i do drive pretty aggresive sometimes but must agree these tires are quiet and sticky..only con is the weak sidewalls. i noticed sidewall flex during fast turning something i didnt feel back then with my BFG KDW..but hey for nearly half the price i really cant complain!!! Ima purchase a new set with some new rotas in june!!! wooo hooo
I tried a set of them last spring but had a major problem with traction in 3rd gear on the highway. I went to Toyo Proxes 4s and they hooked much better. I sold the K104s
