Default Gurus I need help

ok guys so long story short my car is not gripping with the slicks on th street.

My buddy runs some 275/50/15 from MT he says they grip great but i dnt want to get the same setup as him lol....

Anyways MH tires from what I have heard are better..

anyways im looking to get these tires

http://www.mandhtires.com/store.php?...on=show_detail

they compare to the MT 275/50/15...

What I need is some help to figure out what rim I can use so these tires fit. Of course I am trying not to use any spacers.

Can you gurus help me figure this out.

Thanks,

Ed

raise the car on coilovers a little bit, push them outside the fenders with spacers or low offset wheels, then they might fit. Those are much bigger than anyone has actually used outside of a few race cars. You'll also want a 8.5" wide wheel, or wider even. http://www.mandhtires.com/store.php?...on=show_detail is the largest people fit and can reasonably daily drive on. even works with stock struts.

for a 9.5 to 10" wide wheel you'll need a roughly 0 offset to get the same strut clearance as stock.

no, there aren't going to be any off the shelf wheels that will work.

The 235/60/15 et streets I used were listed as 9.5" on mickey thompsons site I had them mounted on 15x7 kosei k1's. I honestly don't know the offset but I'd assume there are the same offset everyone else on here has with their kosei's as these were off the shelf wheels. Like I've said in other threads, they cleared while on the stock struts with a 2"+ drop. I used a 1/4" spacer but didn't actually have to. I just felt better knowing there was more clearance between the spring perch. I'd say if you can find a 15x8 wheel, they would work. I planned to try to fit the 26x10.5 et street on the kosei's but ended up going with slicks instead. I have a feeling I'll be doing it in the future though. Maybe you could look into some 15x8 bogarts. They can make what you need anyway.
