Default Best Wheel to Run DR's on?

What are some of your setups? Do the 15' PT Cruiser Steelies work well?

pt steelies with 225/50-15 DRs is a good combo for stock and near stock cars.

Where can you find PT steelies? I have been unable to locate any, at least that were priced within reason.

im hitting up a set of 16's or 17's (havnt ordered them yet, still trying to verify what will fit my big brakes) to match my 18's and run dr's on those. that way it looks good and is functional

kosei k1's with some 26" slicks should do the trick for a 50trim

I called discount tire and they do have the PT steelies, but they are a copy of the original. They are $106 shipped for a set of two. Heres the thing though. He told me that they had a different offset than the original, and that he would not buy them if I was going to be driving over 70mph. He said they were a bit different than the original and would cause the car to shake uncontrollably over 70mph. Now I will be going over 70 in less than 5 seconds. I will probably be hitting in the 120's now, and hopefully close to the 130's when I am done. How many of you have had expeirence with these? I am going to be running 8.5x24.5x15 inch slicks on these. The guy from M&H said to get the PT steelie so I would assume I need the original. Since these will be sitting farther in, 41mm offset, I doubt the slick will clear.

she shimmy at 70mph can be taken care of by correctly balancing the rim/tire combo. if it was enough to not drive on them then they would not be selling them. too much of a easy lawsuit

Thats just the thing. He would not sell them to me because I said it wasnt for winter tires. He asked if it was for a winter tire and I said no. He the said "we dont have what you need." Thats when I started asking questions and he stated what was in my first post. He told me to buy the rims from the dealer.
