Default best tires on stock rims

Hi, my stock tires are going out and I have very little traction. I am wondering what the best tires for the stock rims are. I live by chicago, so something that is good in the rain and snow, and will get my power to the ground in the summer time. And will be good for once a month track visit. Pretty much which one is going to give me the best grip in any situation. Thanks, Jason

kumho mx tires are only second to the #1 tire for srt-4's, the falken azenis rt 615, but they cost a heck cheaper for the set of four, so go for it.

My Falken ZE-512 tires have stood through the worst that Chicago weather has thrown at them. Including that one huge snow storm that we had a few months back which I drove 50 miles to work in without a problem.

Summer traction is pretty decent. I mean don't expect drag radial grip but it can hold its own. I haven't raced at the track with them but some here have claimed 2.0 60 fts with these with the pressure dropped a little.

I'll be buying these tires again for my next wheels.

except for the fact they aren't safe in snow and no size for stock wheels.

The Toyo Proxes 4 is a great option for your application.
215/45ZR17 - $84.12/tire

Plus we are located in chicago so you could do local pickup and not have to pay shipping charges.

just so ya know, none of these will perform (cornering mainly) like the stock tires. being all-season tires means they will give up dry grip for some winter grip.

also try Kuhmo Ecsta ASX. I'm not sure if they come in stock sizes. I'm too lazy to check right now.
