Default best tire for 50 trim?

hey guys i just got a fifty trim on and i'm putting out around 400 hp. i have 17x7 wheels. looking for a good 225/45/17 with some good traction. i have motor mounts, springs, and the bwoody h brace with traction bars. it is my daily driver so i will have to drive it in the rain on occasion. any suggestions at all?

Ditch the 17's get some 15's and run slicks . Ok, just kidding, you might try a drag radial for daily driver. Other then that any tire with 400 front wheel horsepower is going to spin in the first 2 gears.

One name sir, Bridgestone! Two models, RE050A Pole Position and RE01-R... Put the power you want, they just don't spin! Awesome traction...

Right now, I using RE050A Pole Position 255/40/17...

BFG DR is for drag track only... No wet driving with those please!

i agree with srt4r potenza RE-01R be good tire.. also look into Yokohama Advan A048, Pirelli corsa (not the system one), Nitto NT-01 & Toyo RA-1
but even with those unless u can turn ur boost down to 8psi ur gonna spin first..
