Best 215 50 17 tire?

i am buying new tires this week. i am getting 215 50 17, which is what i usually get. Wish i could get wider but i really cant afford new rims right now. i need opinions on what people think are the best stickiest tires for that size. so for i am seeing the kumho esta spt or the fuzion zri. any honest opinion would be great, right now i am running the crappy nexen 3000.

Have you read the Tire Review sticky thread? Or what about the Tire Recommendation sticky thread?

OLD: 2003 SRT-4 is gone... thanks for the good times.

NEW: 2012 Chevy Cruze Eco... well, at least its still turbo right?

We'd be happy to make a recommendation for you. How many miles did you get out of the 3000's and how many miles are you wanting to get out of your new tires. (or does it matter to you) You mention you want more grip, that shouldn't be too hard to get, but what else do you want? Wet traction, comfort, life?

I was wondering the same thing. I like the looks of the Continental Extreme Contact tires.
