Axis Reverb 18x8.5 with Eibach Sportline kit fit perfect.
On friday I went down to Axis and they set me up with a set of Reverb 18x8.5 with a +35 offset (they said it was a +40 but the box says +35). Then, I went over to Eibach to pick up a new Sportline kit 2" front and 2.4" rear with a set of swaybars. The tires are 225-40s that I picked up at a local shop that afternoon.
Just wanted to let you guys know, These fit perfect with the drop. No spacers needed and "No" rubbing. The rear trailing arm clears by about 3/4". The brakes clear with about 2.5" to the spokes. I'll have to report back when the springs settle after a while to check the fit on the rear fenders.
I only put the rear swaybar on to try to alleviate the abundance of understeer.
The wheels don't stick out. The rear tuck with a little neg camber and the front are right on. I was also thinking they would stick out, but they don't.
I would do a 235 but it is taller and I didn't want to rub. I don't know of a 235-35. But, now that I have them on, I see I have the room for 235-40s. The 225 don't pull too bad. And trust me, I can't stand too small of a tire on a wide wheel.
Pics soon.
