Default Apparently Toyo Proxes 4 is discontinued?

Was calling around today and have been told that they discontinued that line of tires. Sucks because I really enjoyed them on my car. Apparently the manufacturer has some left in warehouse but once those are gone its done. Anyone know what they are replacing it with?

So now I gotta find some new tires to get. Thanks to stowaway's tire recommendation thread I'm able to get an idea of what to look for. So far the ones i found that are close to the treadwear rating of my proxes4's are:
  • Fuzion ZRi
  • Kumho SPT
  • Bridgestone Potenza RE760 Sport
  • Firestone Firehawk Wide Oval

Im going for longevity and performance and however far i can stretch the two together.

Anyone have a recommendation within that group? Im on an 18x7.5 rim looking at the 225/40/18.

about time?????

Living in florida you have zero need for an all-season tire. Any of those tires will be a step up in performance with little difference in tire life. Right now, given the state of tire technology, I'd avoid the Firestone because it is the oldest. The SPT is the most widley liked, the Bridgestones the newest design, the ZRi having the most direct feel.

i also considered those you have listed and went with the new hankooks...

Hankook Ventus V12 evo K110

but i got them from discount tire for a better price...

Look for Hankook Ventus V12 Evo K110 tires by size - Discount Tire/America's Tire

plus, right now they have a $50 rebate...

anyway, mine will go in like 2 months in a 225/45/17. will post up how i like them...

good luck with your choice...
