That's what Kics wheels spacers are for! Go aggressive or stay stock, that's my motto! Fenders should always need to be rolled or your wheel setup is lame. lol

so u dont think i can make a 40mm offset wheel with the lip fit? currently i have bc coilovers and rev model II's ( 45 offset) with 235/40 tire with 5mm spacers running -1.5 camber. im sure gonna try, ill make it work safely
No, you don't understand. It won't look right with spacers.
Look at the picture above that I posted. Do you see how the rear wheel sits FLUSH with the fender? The way the Maxis Lips work is that in order to get a super deep lip while retaining the correct offset the material on the mounting pad is shortened. They do this because they know the rear calipers are always smaller.
If you put those rear wheels on the front you'll need large spacers. More like adapters. Probably at least an 1" just to clear the calipers. And what will you end up with? Wheels that stick out well past the fenders.

Fixed with: camber + fender rolling, lol.

Kics spacers have built in lugs. If you don't want to roll your fenders, get a set of flared fenders and the correct spacer to clear your caliper. Nothing wrong with having a wider front track, since 1: Your FWD and 2: Wider front = better turn in. Aggressive wheel combo will out shine the car with 15 tv's, bodykit, off the shelf wheels and look so bad ass that youll be glad you "went and did it"
I'm running 25mm Kics spacer on my Miata, word of warning, look at whatever wheels you have and/or are contemplating and make sure that the area between the lug holes is carved out on the back. If it isn't, you have 2 choices. Grind/drill the wheel, or grind the stock studs. If you don't do either, the stock studs will contact the mounting pad on the wheels and you won't be able to fully seat the wheel onto the hub (which is now the Kics spacer). I chose to grind 1/16" off my stock studs.
