Hey, what happened to that company that was making the forged wheels for very reasonable prices? I think it was something like forged6061 or something like that. Can't find them in the supporting vendors list anymore.
They are correct, Alot of people were interested in 6061 products. They just couldnt follow through. I am one of three people that wound up with the wheels they ordered. Believe me though they came with a price. They look great but not worth what I have tied up in them. I could just about get a set of HREs for what I have in these wheels.
Nice wheels, srtfun. It's too bad about 6061, but businesses come and go for a reason. BTW, where did you get those lugnuts? They set the wheels off nicely, especially on the red car.
Its not your fault. I am happy with the wheels. They look top notch I just wish they could have executed their plan better. As well once they were shipped I had to do alot of work to fix shipping mistakes.
The lug nuts are from Rays Engineering. I wouldnt suggest them. I took them off and on several times when doing my Stoptech kit and noticed they were showing alot of thread damage. One stripped out at about 80lb ft. I took them off and went back to steel. Lug nuts really isnt something I want to play around with. Thanks for the compliments.
