We have someone down here running a 215/45 on the stock wheel and it looks pretty good. It's a little shorter than stock, but it's hardly noticable with the car lowered.

i'm running 215 50 17 but i'm a tad bit taller than stock. i've been thru radar at 70 in a 65 with no problems so my speed didn't get thrown off to much . very minimal help with spinning , i just went with the 215 50 17 cause i wasn't sure an the tire place said it was really close .

215/50-17 is the only other size you should EVER use on stock wheels. They are going to be .1" taller than the stock KDW2 tires, .4" taller than stock Michelins on 03s.

if you put them on different ends, it doesn't matter about a little diameter difference. Pretty much any of the 205/50 will be damn similar (a tenth or two at most) and then the 215/50 are all pretty much 25.5" tall. The very most difference you could get would be right around 1/2" and that's if you find the shortest 205/50 and tallest 215/50.

so 215/50 will be fine? or 215/45?

i was told by the tire company that they wouldn't put anyting bigger on my stock wheels than a 215 . to much risk of the tire rolling over the lip of the rim an then they would be at fault . so they straight up said no . which was fine with me the last thing i want is a set of unsafe tires
