Default 17 x 8's tire question

do i need to run a 235/40 or can i do a 235/45 without any issues? which would be better? thanks for the input

Do you have coilovers? If so, how lowered are you?

The 235/40 helps a little with clearance on some coilovers and has a smaller sidewall which should provide a stiffer sidewall (comparing the same brand/type of tires).

While the 235/45 is closer (I believe) in overall diameter to the stock tire and usually cheaper to buy (more options).

no coils, but will prolly have some soon. yeah i think i might go with the 235/45s mostly for the sake of more options. thank you!
