Default 16x7 or 16x7.5 or 16x8??

Okay, so I'm wanting to go a lil bit on the darkside and run some 16's on my whip. my isue is what offset should I run with width ofwheel to get a nice machined lip. I wanna run 250 series ties to get that nice beefy look too. I wanna know if anyone can give me some serious advice to what size tires and offset wheel to run. Also what is the recomended drag wheel size and tire size. I have the Hotchkis springs that brought the car down 2" in the front and a lil over 2" in the back. (if that helps)

you should know that there aren't any 255 width tires that fit the car. 245/45-16 needs at least a 7.5" wide wheel. The offsets are the same as a 17 or 18" diameter, 35-40mm. A 245/50-16 Nitto NT555r is the only drag radial that is close to fitting, with it being right up against the lower spring perch and inner fender.

Default springs

I just bought the hotchkiss kit from jscspeed. I looked the the eibach, the tiens and the hotchkiss and I wanted something to lower the front not too much but actually be able to match the rear wnd up slighlty better than the difference of front and back as stock. I am extremely impressed with this kit. Not too stiff but great in the corners. over bumps it does very well and if you hit a fast bump accidently, it doesnt feel like you broke something.with the stock wheels and tires this kit cleaned up the car very nicely without getting too drastic. You do hear some clunking for a minute that I have read about onother posts. but I noticed just recently within the past 300 miles that there isnt anymore "clunk" when going over bumps.?. the kit is cheap. but you needto install by yourself. Tire shops will charge $250+ to do it.have fun.

Hey Fixit, thanks bro. how do your whhels look? any pics? I'm tired of seeing these damn sports cars with bid ass wheel and no tire. Looks good, drives shitty! Anyways, I was looking at volk racing wheels, they seem to be pretty light. My car is flame red and I was debating on what color wheel to also go with. I'm planning on painting the car Escalade White after my stage 4, probubly next year this time... but wanted the wheels now that would look great with both colors. suggestions!

Default hmm

well I wish there was some more info out here. I know what sizes a can run now, thanks to some devoted enthusiests, but I need to know now if bronze looks good on flame red? I want a six spoke wheel like the Volk TE37. I dont think they make a wheel to fit our car though in that style. Anyone take a look at these and know of something similar I should look at? Thanks!

I would like to get some 16x8's to run 225's on. I don't see a need to put 245's on... I have a hard time getting my 225's hot, at least in the back.
