someone layin dead in the middle of gerlands parking lot
freakin crazy, just passed by gerlands on spencer/underwood in laporte on the way back from pickin up my son. looked over to see why there were 20 police cars/emt/people outside yellow police tape and there was someone dead laying right in the middle of the parking lot. Really sad scene and im guessing someone was robbed/murdered possibly.. i know there are a few guys on here also from the area too, just seeing if anyone knows what happened? most likely gonna be on the news tonite

Yeah I passed by around 7:30 and saw all the comotion there were LP, DP and constables all there. I thought a gang fight had broken out or something I watched the news tonight and there was no mention of it. I usually avoid that Gerlands and now I know why!

Wow, That's the area where I grew up... I went to 6th & 7th grade at Baker Jr High just across the street from that Gerland's (it was Appletree back then) DP / LP had a super low crime rate for as long as I can remember, this is really sad to see.
Illegal, when did you & your brother graduate from LPHS? Class of '91 here, so I'm probably a good bit closer to old-fartdom than you guys...
