Mine 2009-2008 Wrx sti.. 40 roll outta second 2 1/2 to 3 cars Emmet Lowery expressway... we toyed around on 45 nothing to serious then the road was basically clear he came up next to me and I held up 2 fingers... (second gear) 3 quick honks and up to about 100 mph... those sti's are quick but not quick enough... lol..

ptp wastegate 17psi. apg upper, aem cia.. 3 in exaust.. Im not fulla shit or anything the car is stout lol... I was even a lil nervous cause i thought i would for sure lose but im kinda getting used to the car... That was my first real run with anyone ... I still need to tune this car though cause it would be probably about 285 at the wheels with a tune ... Just dont wanna drop 550 at turbochargers.com. either way neon for the win..

btw if thats your ss in your avatar did u ever mess with anyone in an srt bout 2 weeks ago? If so it was mine lol... on i 45

Man, do you spend all your time trying to race? I'd tone it down a bit if I were you.

I'm not saying you do, just the few posts I've seen you make are always related to you street racing someone. No one here is truly above it, a few runs here and there are definitely fun...but constantly doing it is going to land you in trouble. I know the new car is a blast, especially these, but you might want to consider enjoying it with a bit more moderation.

I am not trying to be a dick, I have no room to talk, I'm one of the few here who has actually been arrested and prosecuted for street racing.

Edit: They are referring to (or should be) FWD Performance in Spring.

Sunshine.. Really man? this is the 2nd time ive ever done anything like this ... one motorcycle nothing over (65-70) and one car(just broke 100mph).. either way this is my 2nd exp with that... I dont look for ppl to run,,, I enjoy the car for what it is and am trying to see where it is at. I understand you have been arrested and appreciate the concern but im sure if you think about it you were doing something alot more crazy than 10-15 seconds of boost on an empty expressway.. I have been driving for some time and yes this car is new to me... And i understand ppl that frown upon messing with ppl on the street as it is dangerous.. However, something I think we all know is that we didn't get these cars to drive miss daisy.. I am all about doing it on the track and look forward to it but for now I'm just having a touch of fun.. No I dont romp my car every time i go to get gas .. As a matter a fact i dont romp on it to much at all... I do this little thing I like to call enjoy it..

Actually, I wasn't doing anything, but that is besides the point. Story for a different time.

The only reason I said anything was because I guess I read both the post in this thread and the one where you were trying to get the GTO and Chevelle to race.

It's just friendly advice, but I'm not your mom and you're a big boy.

Just suppose it was a combination of seeing those two posts in quick succession that made it seem like you were frequently doing it. Which I'd recommend against. Stay safe, sir.

dude makes thread about a run and he gets jumped on like you guys are his parents and he is 15 or some shit..? He likes to run on the streets that's fine, every one here has done it atleast once. If he where to get caught the penalty is harsh and he will deal with it.

Well, to with what the OP was asking for, this past Saturday night on my home from a friend's house a turboed Beetle was up for a race (I remember someone telling me they were decently quick). Anyway, we're on the freeway and I drop it in 3rd. Honk it off and he punches it? Didn't look like it was moving at all.... Just ran through 3rd and shut it down. He wants another run so I give him a car head start and tell him to go. He punches it again? Run through 3rd again and exit.

It was a waste of time but was a bit fun, got to embarrass a guy trying to show off for his girl.

Last week, an F/A-18 Hornet with heads/cams/full bolt-ons. He didn't really wanna run, because he doesn't get traction under mach 3, but I got him to go from a speed of sound roll. He had me until mach 5, but as soon as we broke the space time continuum I romped all up on him....
