Talking Now a DSLR owner!

Well I have really been wanting to get a DSLR for a while now and today I finally got one. I got the Nikon D60 w/ the 18-55 VR Kit. I know there are some locals in the DFW area who have DSLR/Nikons so if anyone wants to meet up and help me learn the camera, or have a small "photo shoot" that would be cool. I'll post up some pictures tomorrow that I took with the camera. Thats it for now, off to read tutorials and watch videos on the camera.

Thanks for checking the thread out.

-Wes

It's whatever works for you. Both Canon and Nikon have great glass.

Just don't go buy the Tamron special. If you wanted to use cheap lenses you could have bought a cheap camera body

Sounds good! Naw I have yet to get my wheels done, I start my new job on the 21st so I should have a better cash flow situation then allowing me to start working on the car again. But yeah we should do that, I've been wanting to do some shots downtown!
