Default Malfunction Engine Light.

Okay so about two weeks ago i got my car back and that day i installed my new exhaust and its catless.the light came on about a day after i installed the exhaust system.is this like because theres no cat? or is it because of the maxxfab o2 housing? or is it something else? will it eventually go away?...

No cat code, It's normal, won't hurt performance...Get S1 to get rid of the code.

The check engine lite comes on because you have no cat & the o2 sensor tells the computer that , you can pull out the bulb behind the engine lite or buy stage 1 or 2 to get rid of it .
