Looking for somewhat mod-friendly Dealership in Dallas area???
Does anybody in DFW no of one. Need to get some things checked out. It really should'nt matter if the car has mods or not, but we all know how that goes. So anybody with an "in" or know a good technician at a dealership... let me know!!!
I lost my contact at Dallas Dodge... he went to Ford.
Not that Dallas Dodge was any good anyways... they dicked us out of some money on a clutch change that should have been covered under a 1yr/12K manufacture warranty.
I have yet to find a dealership that will look for the actual cause of problems... rather than simply blame a CAI for a misfire.

I'm not a big fan of Dallas Dodge but they are probably the dealership with the most experience when it comes to working on the SRT-4. At least when it comes to SRT-4 clutches and trannies.
Great. Exactly what I wanted to hear. Mis-fire is right. I get no codes and the problem is very-very intermitten. Pull up to a stop sign...idles like ish! Pull up to the next stop light idles fine. I have tried different plugs, wires, gaps to no avail. I am 99% confident it is my TPS or TPS wire harness. I'm just afraid they tell me it will cost you 80 bucks just to hook the scanner and see if there is a problem with it. Why? because I have stage 2.
I'm guessing I'll go to the dealer were I purchased the car..if they say we'll have to charge you to use the scanner. I'll say no just order me a new TPS harness and have some you guys help me install it!!!

Thanks for the replies!
I would just skip the bullshit and go buy the TPS. Brian and I try to avoid the dealerships at all cost. Of course when it's non engine related, I'll take it in at that point.

I've had nothing but good luck from Huffines Dodge in Lewisville. I've had warrenty work done there and I've got a few mods. It's also nice when you go in to see Vipers from across the country being serviced there!
People once said that Dallas Dodge was the place to go and look what they are saying now. Huffines has always been good. Just be smart when you go in.

Sweet. Thats right up the road from me. What do you think would be the best approach? Tell them I've had stage 2 for 8000 miles with no probs what-so-ever, and that the miss has just started occuring???

What do you all think???
Thanks again.
That would be a good idea. They told me at one point that if they found the problem was caused by me then they were going to charge me an $80 diagnostic fee. Just be up front with them. Also, tell them what other stealershis have told you and/or what they said the problem was.
Cool. Thanks for the help locals. One of these days when work is'nt beating the ish out of me I'll make it out to some meets. I'll let everyone here know how it goes.
