Well, I didn't get to go to the track last week because the guy that was supposed to get me a helmet for that night fell through. Well, i finally got the helmet from him so i will definitely be there friday night. If anyone wants to go let me know. I won't be running slicks yet because i won't have my stuff delivered by then so i will just be running street tires. Up to now i have only raced on bullshit tracks over in germany. Haven't actually ran on a real strip yet so this should be interesting. Would be great to have some people there to help me out and give me some pointers. Just a quick question. Is the surface on drag strips pretty grippy or am i just going to spin tires the entire way down the track on street tires? I went to the track just to check things out when i first got here and it doesn't seem like you can get good grip on the track here on street tires. Oh yeah last week i also picked up a few gallons of race gas (MS-109) so hopefully that will help out and hopefully i won't mess anything up! lol

yeah i probably will be running like 18's or something lol.... had some experience on "tracks" but the tracks over here seem to be a completely different animal
That track is pretty good it is well maintained. AS far as traction issues going by what your mods are i think if you baby it out of the hole you should not spin that much but once you catch balls to the walls man.what are you boostin at?
