like i said, the SRT was a fad...some people will keep theirs forever, but eventually will get something faster and more reliable...
i would have traded mine in by Thanksgiving anyways if i wouldn't have wrecked it...looking to get another stock one as a daily but would rather just get an auto LS1 for the wife...

well for some (idk what nice's reason to want to get rid of it was since he was mostly show for what i heard, it did look look "nice") is that when you start modding heavily you realize what handicap fwd is, maybe at the track on slicks you can have "some" fun, nothing can beat having traction, if it wasnt for the tcs from nde i would have been thinking of getting something else by now, but even with that demon comes out i might consider a trade in.
The biggest reason you see so many SRT-4's for sale is the age of the average driver. Most are late teens, early 20's. The SRT-4 is a great 1st/2nd car to mod and the best part is it can be made fast on the cheap!! These guys get older, finish college or whatever, want something a lil more reliable so buh buy SRT-4!!!
The shame of it is the legacy of the turbo dodge is slowly dying with each sell of a SRT-4!!
I'm a sport compact guy! I've been around it since the very beggining! I will NEVER sell my neon. Cheap, fast FWD fun!!! That's how and why the spocom movment started. It's dying down (which is a good thing) now maybe the community will regain that grass roots feel it had back in the day.
Good luck on the sale!!! I got a bank account full of money but the wife would KILL me if I purchased another car!!

there were quite a few reasons for it...it had 84,000 miles on it, it was uncomfortable, it was loud, the driveability wasn't as good (PTB = FTL), from a dig it was worthless and anything other than a 40 roll the car would bog...
the only time that i would have had "fun" is at the track with slicks, but since i ain't a very big track guy, that really didn't pertain to me...it was unfortunate i lost it the way i did, but like i said, someone was looking out for me...
i could go into everything i like about my STi over what i didn't like about my SRT but it would just start a shit storm...

p.s.
if i were to buy the wife an LS1 it would get at least an exhaust...it would be an auto so she could drive it...eventhough they are heavy and shit, i would love to have a WS6 for pure sexiness...she would drive the shit out of that thing...imagine her 105lb ass at the track in an LS1, HAHA !!!
