On the way home from a friends house and was not speeding or 'on it'. Got pulled over by SAPD most anal cop and gave me a ticket for my exhaust.

(full three in. turbo back )

Anyone ever get ticket for the same thing ? I have a clean record.
How much itll be ?

Dont wanna take off the exhaust at all, this just gives me more reason to buy a DD

Damn thats Cali LAW FTL!!!!!! Naw i just heard that they passed a bill that the exhaust cannot be above a certain decible and also for loud music players.....Did he even get a meter to see if it were over the limit?

What was the ticket for? I have a dump exhaust and that is pretty much as loud as it gets and I have never been messed with for having it. I would be pissed!!! Borderline irate and non cooperative. Sorry to hear that my friend...

I got one a while back, and it's classified as "Defective Equipment" $75 ticket. Just pay it and be done with it.

i had a friend a while back who got a pulled over for a "defective exhaust" like advan, but it was an anal Katy Police cop. They always find reasons to pull people over. NEVER drive in Old Katy at night if you have some kind of performance car.

What a childish attitude...you have illegal exhaust on the car and you're going to be non cooperative with a cop because you chose to run illegal exhaust.

I've got no problems with someone wanting to run with something illegal on their car...but don't blame the cop if you get a ticket. Man up and take it...the blame's on you.

Im not sure on the fine....But I'm sure they are gonna ask you to prove to them if you have replaced the exhaust...
