Default Engine Detailing Questions

I was thinking of letting a car wash company detail my engine. One thing that stood out on the details was pressure wash. Is pressure washing normal for engine detail? Has anyone else had their engine detailed this way? I am a lasy ass and don't really want to detail the engine myself.

It can hurt, coilpacks dont really like high pressure water sprayed all over them. I don't know about them doing that, but as long as they don't spray any major electrical components it should be fine.

I have power sprayed my car underhood many times. Just don't be a fucking asswipe, and hold it on the cam, map, tip sensor, or even the computer. It only takes a spraying of a good cleaner, use the scrub soapy brush, and spray it clean. Money, then touch up the rubber with whatever you want.
