Mines super clean as hell...I spend any free time I have, so probably an hour a day just cleaning and polishing...You could use my intake manifold as a mirror haha I sanded the valve cover down too for a better look and shined the motor mount too. For everything else I just use a cloth and some water, Mothers mag and aluminum polish for the shiny surfaces.

don't be afraid to power wash your car at the carwash...soak the engine bay with the engine/tire cleaner, and then power wash the shit out of it...

use chamois to wipe the rest...

careful about washing up on top. do it yourself places have cameras and if they catch you washing shit down the drain you are in big trouble, also youll get water in a plug hole like i did and a plug will go bad. tire shine helps a lot after its already clean. wd-40 breaks up heavier grease but needs to be rinsed off as it leaves a thicker film. q-tips are good. dont tackle it all at once if its bad, go left to right, just like the outside paint. the whole car is a pain in the butt but if you do just what the sun hits then do the doors and rocker panels another day off its not nearly as bad.

i think the way the plugs are set so high, as long as you don't soak the valve cover you should be good...

plus, we live in Texas, you ever seen some hillbilly wash the mud and rocks off his 87 Bronco 4X4...that is some gross shit...

the things i'm caredful with and try not to get too wet are the map clamp, valve cover, and fuse box...the rest is good...

just don't get the valve cover to9o wet cuz water will set inside there...it won't do anthything to the plugs cuz it's raised a lil bit...

don't know about revolution...

but mother's, windex, any tire spray works really good...just use anything to get rid of grease...if you keep your engine bay clean like me, you won't need to wash it that often...

x2
BUT
Dont dont it after a 30 minutes drive....so it in the morning or somthing....I put foil paper on all the electrical stuff just to be safe cause you never know....than I put a degreaser on and let it sit for a couple of minutes and than wash it down.....I think I left my engine on throughout the process.....than dry it done....get into all the small spots where water my stay for example remove your injector cover and dry around the injectors...thans amorall what you need and I use a polish for the shiny stuff....
