So yeah you know that blade thing that hangs down under our radiators, does anybody still have that on their car and does it even do anything?? Same goes for the black hard plastic thing that is under the IC.

They are both air deflectors. They are there for a reason.

One is an air dam, that's good for deflecting air from going under your car, the under side of your car has a lot of pockets that catch air, if you limit the amount of air going under there it could aid in aerodynamics, the other is just a splash guard

the small one is to catch cooler air. the big one is a scrape gaurd, most cars have them now days, it scrapes on the ground tellling you that your clearance ls low.

Ok so if im not running hot there is no other reason to put the air deflector back on and there really isn't a good reason to leave the other one on either.

its good to leave the small one on, but the big one is worthless, I have taken it off every car I have owned.

DCX doesnt waste money on non-essential parts. The air deflector forces air into your radiator to aid in cooling. The other bigger piece is there to protect vital components of your car against road debris. ei. keep your radiator from finding a branch.
