**DFW** New meet idea's - SRT Forums

Hey guys,

As I have seen here, DFW is in need of a new meet spot and I wanted to make this thread dedicated to getting this in the works.

I have been making meets and running them for a little more then 2 years. I know what to do in order to make it legal and safe.

Here is what I need from you,

1. Location most of you are at.
2. Time line ( meaning what day of the week )
3. Track meets?
4. Location preference
5. Open meet or closed? ( open to everyone etc.. )
6. Any idea's or spots you know of.

Start with that and we can make some things happen. I will post up my
youtube stuff later and show you what I can do.

My video skills are not perfect but I can promote my ass off. If we can get enough participation then this could be a solid meet. Doesnt only have to be SRT-4's either. Tell your friends about it and give me a + whatever that you think would come with you.

As some of you know, I am a Co- founder and former promoter for the largest Domestic Muscle Car club in DFW period ( Lonestar Muscle ). With 10 sponsors including our old friend Northstar Drag, I have a good amount of knowledge on how to promote these kinds of things.

Let me know what I can do,

Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday or Sunday

Yes, but on events

4. Location preference
DFW Metroplex or somewhere in between

5. Open meet or closed? ( open to everyone etc.. )
Doesn't matter

6. Any idea's or spots you know of.
Home Depot, Lowes, Walmart parking lots

The only thing wrong with doing it at a park is they think your setting up a massive SRT-4 drug deal. JK

Good idea's and I am looking at some good potiential spots. Should be in the market here soon and then we will put something together.

Anyone else have something to add?

yeah cause any time you have more than 3 mexicans at a park ther's some stuff goin down ! lol

Lets just joint the one on Wednesday's in Plano, 75 & spring creek. @ shut down Albertsons parking lot @ 8:30. We can talk to the fellas there and go from there.

I may start heading to that one as soon as know my grades are up where i want them. Sounds like a plan though.

haha meant my college classes...o, also the next car wont be turbo looking @ some ls2 gto's since everything else is overpriced.

Those are really nice+ they got some balls. Some times I want to get in to some thing else, but I don't want to do car payments.

Yeah im tired of FWD. Looking @ some evo's 2 but they are getting pretty damn rare and more overpriced than GTO's also.
