does the sound change any after it gets "broken in"?

681.95 i picked it up today....

i like it and all but its too quiet lol'
im thinking its because its brand new..... but i dnt know
i got it w/ out a cat...

and i compared it to the vid they have on their website and it sounds kinda different?!?

or maybe its jst me, i mean i went from 3'' open dwnpipe to this...

i wish my mpx duels were that straight cause i tryed and tryed and i cant even get them close to looking that good and mine is loud as hell

yea point thats wht i originally was gonna go with.....i already have the maxxfab dwnpipe w/ no cat..... but i wanted full 3''.....i dunno i still might wanna do it later on.....
