Default Custom 3" Exhaust?

I decided that I am going to get a custom exhaust made rather than buying a name brand exhaust. Does anyone know of a good place around the Austin, Waco, Killeen area that makes a good exhaust from experience? I want something that is good, but also cheap. I have heard of people that have done 3" all the way back for $150. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Yes you should get a downpipe, $150 is really cheap for an exhaust system, its definately not going to be stainless steel.

Look for a custom quality job, Turbo back, for NO LESS than $400.00....and that would be cheap, custom made stuff is more expensive than pre-fab stuff...(most of the time)... you wouldn't even get the raw materials to do it yourself with $150........

well, I guess I will just have to look around. Everyone that I have asked that has 3" custom exhaust say that they got a really good deal on it. I searched and there is one guy who got it in stainless steel, madrel bent, for $395 installed. There has to be someone that knows of a good cheap place. BTW, it doesn't really have to be stainless steel does it? I mean, I do not care if it rusts as long as the tips are chrome.

I found a shop that will do 3'' mandrel bends and dump it under the back seat for $70. All it is, is a 3ft long tube that bends down at the end if you get a dump. Do you want loud?

^well, loud is cool, but I am one for duals. I love the way they look and sound. Any idea how much the guy would charge for a full cat-back?
