Austin mainly.. I'm just waiting ont he bank for the loan/pre qual. stuff before heading over there to check out a few houses.. I should have a job lined up with my current company (time warner cable)... I wan't to join the firedepartment though... MY class here in NY was canlced cuase of the cut backs and being 29, i'll be too old by the time next test rolls around.. cut off here is 30, in Tx it's 35... so i'm seeing if anyone on here is one who could maybe give me some insight on how the job is out there... shouldn't be too diff i'm thinking... If anyone knows or can actualy make it easier for me to get on the job aswell would be great...
I test for SAFD August 14th...highly doubt i'm going to get it though, as it's a 100 question test and you must score a 95 to get in. Which IMO is pretty fucking tough. I think like over a thousand applied last year and only 200 got in or something.
