I'm FINALLY going back to El Paso for the labor day weekend for my Grandfather's 80th birthday. So I was wondering if the drags are still at desert demonz on Sundays? If so, I want to bring the monster for a few runs if I got time. Also, does anyone know where I can get some race gas for the car too? Any info would be sweet. I haven't been to desert demonz in YEARS!!! I remember when I was in high school, and desert demonz first opened up, it was just a runway with a guy at the starting line with two lights OLD SCHOOL!!! Anyway, you all ever hit up the track, and if so, maybe I'll see you all up there or if you got something going on that weekend, I can hit it up if its cool.

you must have been gone for a while, the closed down desert demons almost a year ago. but there is a new track i have seen it but haven raced it. go to southwestdrags.com for info and same for the race gas. hope that helps
The things I stumble upon at 2 in the morning out of boredom. Wish I had know about this section back in Jan when I bought the car.
Well, I'm driving a blue skittle over in the Northeast. If you see me around just wave me down. I'd enjoy meeting some fellow SRT-4 owners. Definitely shoot me a pm if anyone gets another meet going on.

Any one have experience in looking for vacuum leaks?
It really isn't as bad to test for as you think. If you have a compressor just go fab yourself up a boost leak tester. Will cost you less than $15, there's a write on how to build one in the How-To section somewhere. Took me less than 10mins to find and take care of all my leaks.
If your unsure about checking for it yourself just drop me a pm. I'd be more than happy to give you a hand.

thanks dude, i appreciate your help, one of my friends (with a srt also) helped me boost leak test it with a kit he made. The results were disappointing! Once the system was filled to 16psi(couldnt go higher) it sounded as if a compressor was turned on. The amount of air leaking out of the mopar BOV was insane! So apart from that it has a vacuum leak some where else which i cant hear cause of the damn BOV!
Now im too lazy and bummed out to look for that vacuum leak, looks like i have a weekend project coming up!
On a brighter note! i raced a yellow evo and a new sti on friday night out at the clint track!! Beat the evo twice, and the sti once! MAN I WAS PUMPED!!
Only had three runs that night and my best time was 14.2 at 99 mph and a 2.2 in the 60 ft.
Actually, I had that exact same problem. When boost would build up to about 15psi my blue plate would open up. Try checking over the vacuum lines connected to the middle solenoid (number 3).
In my case I had actually managed to get the vacuum line to back off the solenoid slightly after reseting my pcm. I was going threw the wot cycling for the S2 wastegate, to get the computer to relearn it again . I'm not sure if that's your problem, but it wouldn't hurt to check it out.

Nice, my last run down there was horrible. First time at the track with it and also found out that night that my stock clutch was a little more than slightly worn (Barely made it home with out a tow).
Best time of 14.8 at 95mph with a 2.4 60ft.
That was also my first run down the track with a fwd car. Looking forward to seeing what I can do with a decent clutch and more drive time under the belt.
