doesn't sound too bad, I'll definetely look into it. Thanks I appreciate it. They are good though right? Do they know Dtec?
i dunno bout you but i dont trust richie... i hear alot of shit about him... plus he blew up a srt.... so i dunno just be careful... no one here can tune all that well anyways lol... just be careful

Call AGP get a SCT flash for 500. You tell them what you have and they will build you a tune and if your not happy you cna get as many as you want until your happy.
^^^That sounds like a hell of an idea! Let's say I pay them to make me a flash and I add a few more mods down the road, will they still make me a new flash or will I have to pay again for not havin the same set up? Sort of sounds a bit too good to be true, anyone have experience with that?
The original thread we made regarding questions on the flash has grown a bit hairy, so rather than send someone into a 50+ page thread to search for answers, I decided to make a thread to answer the most common and popular questions.
How much does the flash cost?
The flash is $600 + shipping. This will include the handheld programmer, software, USB cable, and instructions. The programmer will be loaded with the map we tailored to your particular setup.
What PCM's will this work with?
This will work with all pcm's EXCEPT '03 Stage 0. If you have an '03 you need Stage 1/2/3 in order to use our flash.
Do I need a 3-bar map and tip sensor?
Yes and no. You will need a Mopar 3-bar map sensor, and your tip sensor only needs to read the equivalent to a 3-bar tip sensor at ambient pressure. You do not necessarily need an actual 3-bar tip sensor (see below). There are two ways to do this.
1. We sell the map sensor and a tip modification harness for $100. The modification harness will add some resistance to the signal, and will make your stock tip sensor output the proper voltage of a 3-bar tip at ambient pressure. We only sell the tip mod with the map sensor, and will not sell it individually.
For those who are iffy about the resistor harness, you can:
2. You can buy the 3-bar map sensor and a 3-bar tip sensor (the same sensors from Mopar Stage 2 or 3) from the dealer.
NOTE: People who have Mopar Stage 2 or Stage 3 installed on their cars do not need any additional sensors. You already received the 3-bar map and tip sensors when you bought Stage 2 or 3, and do not need anything additional
What do you need to know to make the tune?
In order to put a map together for you, we need to know only a few things.
We need:
- Turbo size
- Injector size
- If you have a return line
- If you have valvetrain work (to determine where to set your rev limiter)
- If you have a stock block, and if not what compression ratio your motor is.
We do NOT need to know:
- Any other modification, including fuzzy dice and underglow lights.
But you didn't ask what boost I'm running!
We suggest using an external boost controller. While the PCM has the ability to control boost, the customer would then not be able to change that setting.
Can I tweak the tune you gave me on my own?
Unfortunately no. The handheld programmer will be locked to your VIN as soon as you flash your car. The handheld has a unique serial number which our map will contain to ensure that your map only is used with your handheld. Any changes to your map will need to be done by us.
We spent a lot of time in developing these maps, and we would like control as to which car these maps are used on. This is not only to protect our investment into this project, but to prevent someone from flashing someone else's car and blow it up with a map that was not designed for their car.
The map is designed as a base tune. While the map may be spot on in some areas, other areas will be a bit conservative for safety. For those who would like to fine tune their car, we suggest using a piggyback on top of the flash and to pull out the extra few % of fuel needed to achieve your desired air/fuel ratio. The big difference now is that rather than pulling 30% of fuel out for the car to run with large injectors, the scaling is done for you on the PCM level, so it'll be much like fine tuning a stock turbo car or a Mopar Stage 3 car with a piggyback. You will not need to pull out nearly as much fuel in order to fine tune.
Can I have a pump gas map, and a race gas map?
The short answer is no, you don't need one.
The longer answer is that one map can provide both. We will set the map up so that everything up to 21psi is for pump gas.
For those who like to go to the track with race fuel, we will add a bunch of extra timing in the boost areas 22psi and above.
Will I benefit from this if I have a stock turbo?
The stock PCM provides a very aggressive timing curve, and many cars see high counts of knock with bolt-ons running at higher than stock boost. We will pull timing out of the map to make it much safer, although you may end up losing a bit of power from that. The drivability may be better on part throttle, and the car will feel much more smooth though. So the actual answer to this question will vary depending on what you are looking for. From a power standpoint, you may not benefit at all, and may actually lose power. From a drivability standpoint, you will most likely benefit by having a car with a safer tune.
Will this work with (insert vendor here)'s Super Crazy Awesome Turbo 11.5.3?
Yes. We are equal opportunity here, and will build maps for you even if you have not bought one of our kits.
I changed my turbo and fuel system. Do I have to buy a new tune?
No. When you change your setup, just contact us and let us know what you are changing, and we will email you a new file. Just upload that file to the handheld via the USB cable, and reflash your car.
I have the SCT Tuner Pro Package. Can I still use your map?
Yes, but you will still not be able to modify the map. We will need the serial number for your handheld, and the map will be locked to that. For pricing for the map by itself, give us a call.
i'm certified dynojet tuner and a master technician, sorry i have been busy alot recently, if anyone needs help on there srt-4 contact rayray for my number and send me a text, be happy to help, i don't have access to a dyno yet but if you have a correctly installed wideband I can tune it for you actual driving, street tune, not just WOT tune bull-ony
