By the way with all do respect, my RICER runs a 10.3 through the quarter
in this instance, your car isnt rice, its your attitude.
by the way, i dont know if you meant to or not, but the correct term for the displacement you were talking about is
liters, not cubic meters.
besides, on the SRT-4 side of this arguement youre trying to stir up, the point many people make with Hondas is that you have to swap out the entire drivetrain in most cases to get an engine and tranny combo that works with your car. in the SRT-4, you mod whats already there. what ends up happening is that a vast number of Honda guys tend to call an engine swap "no big deal".
maybe you could say that the muscle cars from back in the day had larger engines swapped as well, and thats true. however, nearly all of the larger engines were available from the factory in the car to begin with.
now, if Honda wouldve dropped the H22 in the 99/2000 Civic Si for the states they wouldve been on to something but alas, all we got some was a 1.6l 170hp shitbox that run mid 15s if you could drive. the new Si got a great engine but now you have a 4 cylinder in a car that weighs just shy of 3000lbs. thats fucking FAT for a N/A 4 cylinder. that car can run 15 flat or just hit 14.90s if you drive REALLY well. so while its not bad it doesnt come close to a SRT-4.
now you may be a stand up guy with good intentions, but you should really think about what you post. especially when you come in here sayin dumb shit like "people who dont know what theyre talking about" right after you say some dumb shit like ".2 cubic meters bigger" when talking about displacement. that tend to discredit other things like "running 21psi pushin 428hp and 487ft/tq and "By the way with all do respect, my RICER runs a 10.3 through the quarter ".
