so lemme get this straight- the guy looses by wrecking his car which burns up, and the other guy claims it as a win and claims the 10G in victory money?

if both cars get a "kick" off, its a race.....first guy to the finish line wins, just that simple!

True.

We rolled one of our Mustangs, because the driver, Messican Joe, didn't want to pedal the car when it got out of shape.

He hit the curb at around 60 mph and literally jumped a 6' chain link fence, stayed in the gas up the hill and rolled down it.

For anyone familiar with the area, San Fernando rd. Where you start under the overpass, he got squirrely in second gear in the left lane, cut across the right lane, jumped the fence without touching it, and stayed in the gas until he almost hit the bottom of the freeway overpass, then rolled down.

It ended up costing us $2,500 on that race.

We salvaged the drivetrain and had it up and running two weeks later, reraced Mexico , the 1st Gen RX7 we were racing when we rolled, and got our $$$ back plus $1,000.

They were pissed to find out it was the same setup!

what the fuck....so you mean to tell me the car actually left the field view (shot)...rolled downhill to the freeway meaning those were the mustang's taillights just before the footage shows the car burning?
