Close, ZR-1's are like a little over 100,000. Good luck getting a GTR for that price though. Dealerships I have talked to said with all the dealer markups, you pay close to 130,xxx for one right now since the demand is there to pay for it even at that price-point.

I still like them, and would take one for free. But i think i would choose another car for the price of BOTH. Id like an m5. But if i spend that kinda money, i want it to be my daily driver.

i actually have that mag. issue and they did a circle track and the results fell in plac just as the drag race, zr1, gt3, gtb 599, and gtr... i just wish they threw a real car in there... 09 dodge viper acr srt-10 , my choice for around 100 g's
LOL @ morons trying to say it's slow based on drag races. The ZR1 costs almost 30 grand more than a GTR for starters. Plus the GTR is built for road tracks, mainly the Nurburgring, where it hands the Z06 it's ass.
The ZR1 is faster on the track, but again, it's almost 30 grand more, so it had better be.
I still like GTR's, but I wished they weren't plagued with so many issues (transmission with launch control, warranty claims not being honored, etc.)
What are you talking about? First of all, those "problems" were owner caused because Nissan made the mistake of calling a program "launch control" and every moron who bought the car used it every chance they got before the cars broke in. It even said in the contract when you buy the car that by using it, you void your warranty, so it wasn't like Nissan wasn't up front about it.
That being said, the "issue" has been resolved for the 2010 model.
