Isn't the type-H the one that is shaped like a horn and can't recirculate back into the intake? If so, with a stock MAS, that's gonna fuck up his idle.

I know but since this DSM has minimal mods it would be unlikely to have a hacked GM maft

Ah, I see The original post stated that you had "a couple mods", when in fact you have a pretty complete setup. you'll like the FP Green, my buddy is running one right now tuned 22 psi on pump with datalogger and he is happy with it. I walk him but I don't hit full boost till 5000rpm

sounds just like mine, but i have an rfl. which is a type h which with a larger piston diameter, only one air outlet that is also larger and a horn on the air out let. it is loud. loud to the point it hurts my ears in side the car sometimes with the windows down.

My friend has a type-s on his 2nd gen, but he ordered an upper intercooler pipe set from Dejon Tool with a Turbo XS flange on it. The RFL was what he had in mind, but he doesn't want to lose any power or reliability, and also doesn't want to have to tune a MAFT. He has an auto, so he would only run rich when he let off, as opposed to every gear change. We are wondering what the recirculating Type-H Turbo XS sounds like. We have heard the RFL a lot, but never a recirculating version. The Turbo XS RFL is also marketed as a PIT (Performance Import Trends) brand BOV on Jegs.com, and they're whole lot cheaper there.

The best he's gotten 13.0 due to 2.2 60 ft's. However he is trapping 113 on pump gas. It's def low 12's with a hard launch.
