wow im imressed with the way the kid has the balls to do it! the parents obviously dont care about the welfare of the kid but regardless a 12 year old probably has better motor skills than the average 30 year old (x-box skills)
the scary part is look at his second run almost went wide left then wide right.i hope for his sake his father doesnt throw him on a big tire bike.im all for teaching kids how to race but some things should be done in moderation.everything is cool when the bike goes straight but god forbid he has to learn how control the bike in a desperate situation
edit: this video should start one hell of a shit storm lol

I thought most tracks required a drivers license? I know they do junior dragsters, but that's a bit different than a 12 year old launching a hayabusa down the track
its definitely quarter mile mang....that equates to a 3-4 sec 8th mile at well over 100mph....those bikes open up on the last half
I know, that's why I put never mind in my edit. I noticed the 119 mph traps and thought that was a bit slow. Then watched it again to realise he went 158 on the 1st pass, whichis about right. He second pass looks like it started moving around on him and he probably let out, hence the 119 trap on that pass.
I wouldn't call it bad parenting. YOu don't know what the kids grown up around. That's like young kids in the X games doin back flips... Is that bad parenting?
If the kids been in the environment his whole life, no doubt he knows what he's doing. And by the looks of that... he had a pretty good idea.
he did not seem to panic though when the bike started to drift wide to the left he let off and brought it back around some of course the slow bring aorund could be because the bike could not move that fast side to side but I think I might have been a bit more panicy.
and I doubt that was his second time racing a bike maybe that bike but not a bike
Bet the parents have a mutli-million dollar policy, or 2, on that kid.....
Teaching a kid to race and respect speed is one thing but putting them on something like that is only asking for a very young tragedy.

"The Cobalt firmly grabs you and whisks you along your way instantly. It does so with authority and poise, but while slipping relatively unnoticed through traffic, never being violent, or dare I say it, frightening. When you ask the SRT-4 to take you somewhere fast, it punches you in the face, throws you over its shoulder, and runs, screaming, so quickly that its tires can barely keep up."
