Thumbs up High RPM Miss Fixed

I know others have had this problem, some of them running totally stock. My high rpm miss in second and third gear didn't start until I installed a turbo up intake from Jim in Florida. When I asked him about this he suggested I drop the spark plug gap from 0.050 factory down to 0.040. Well, I finally got around to regapping the plugs at 0.040 and what a difference! No more hesitation and that lugging feeling. Now the shifting is smooth all of the way to redline. My GT even feels quicker. I am very pleased. Thanks Jim

yeah, i'm still wondering why the engineers made it to be .050"?

SRTGURLS car started at .055"!

now they are at a boostin' turbo friendly .030" and it runs fine there!(thankz Z1500)

there was still a slight miss when WOT at low RPMS when the gap was at .040"

Thanks, I cruise through this forum a lot to see what's up. Lots of good info.....Lots of questions about why the manufacturer does and doesn't do things to our cars.
