Anyone else have problems with GT rims?

My good friend just picked up his 2004 GT Cruiser at the dealership.It's a real looker too with the Black Exterior with chrome package,heated leather seats, and the 6 disc changer.

I was grabbing some pics of it when he noticed something that looked wrong with the left front wheeel and upon closer inspection the chrome was peeling right off the wheel!

We immediately returned to dealership and had the saleman,the parts guys,the parts manager, and a couple mechanics all came over to have a look at the wheel in question.

They have one ordered under warranty but I was curious if anyone out there has had any problems with their chrome wheels?

lots o peeps have this problem. The door handle chrome pits also. Most have been successful with the dealer replacing under warrenty.
