Default Another sucessfull Stage 1 install

Finally got around to installing my Stage 1 into a 180hp 'Cool Vanilla' Limited. The butt dyno feels similar to the SRT-4, when I had one. Of course the Cruiser is heavier and is auto. The learning steps were trivial.

Bye the way, I didn't take off anything during the installation. The instuctions have you removing some things. I took three bracket bolts out, unplugged the four cable connectors and pulled the bracket and computer. Changed computers on the bracket, re-inserted, re-attached three bolts, plugged the cables in and was good to go. I did disconnect the battery negative and let the transmission fluid warm up, at the end.

A couple of pics:

"LOOKS" quicker

Looking at that side shot, I need to figure out how to level it. Too high.

Welcome to the Stage 1 club. I've had mine for 7 months now and I love it. Must have been a big power increase for you. Stage 2 is next on my agenda.

It was a big hp difference. More like the SRT in responsiveness now.

Any recommendation on a "good" set of anti-sway bars? With the extra power and the extra weight my 'lead-foot' seems to have gained, the roll is more pronounced. Sure would like to tighten it up.

A lot of people have the Eibach sways. You might think about lowering it with Eibach springs. BTG makes a nice strut bar that will greatly help out.

How does the GT stage I/BOV install compare to the SRT stage I install? I did the stage I on my girlfriends SRT-4 and it was a breeze. Doing a friends GT this Fri, but he said something about having an upper intake gasket. The intakes are different, but I haven't looked that closely at one. Any tips?

Sorry to take so long to answer. Been on another planet.

I didn't install the BOV in the cruiser.

If the GT is an 03, you have to remove the intake to change the injectors. The new gasket is, of course, for use when you put it back on.

My Cruiser isn't a GT but is an 04. Which come with the right size injectors. So they just shipped me the PCM only for a cheaper price.

Any help?
