Ok so I have spent the last hour changing the ballists, bulbs and using canoair and whatever else to clean the connections, anyway before I started the right one was working and the left wasnt...
So after switching these combinations, no matter what I switched out I still got the same results the left one never once turned on, all it does is flash when they both are supposed to come on then shuts off right away...
Now what should I try and do next I thought it was the bulb which turned out not to be cause it works on the right side when i switched them out, ok so could it be the stock wiring harness, it is nouthing wrong with the HID kit it has to do with something on the left side headlight connecting up to the headlight...
Does anybody have an idea what I should check out, or can I take it to an electrition to check out or change a certain fuse? What should I do because it used to be I would have to try and turn them on and off several times then they would both worked until one day it stopped coming on at all on the left side...
I am getting so frusterated it has to be something wrong with a connector leading up to the headlight anybody else get any shortages like this???? PLZ help
Anybody think dodge would be able to find the shortage, maybe some wire was rubbing and cause a shortage but the blinker works in the headlight, I dunno what to try now..
Have you tried testing the units outside of the car? The return wire might be arcing. I had a problem like this once. You might also want to try swapping your 10amp fuse for a 15 amp if it keeps popping fuses. The ballasts pull just barely over 10 amps on start up and then immediatly taper down. If you have 10 amp fuses stock you can easily get away with uping the rating to 15. If you're running off the the stock wiring and you're not comfortable with uping the fuse rating you can run a relay and draw power directly from your battery while using larger wires and a 15 amp fuse. Try testing the units outside of the housings first though and see what happens.

how do I test the unit outside of the housing, and I think the ground wire might be rubbing, im not sure how to test the stock wire harness tho..
You can use a test light on the stock harness to see if you have a bad ground or something. To test the hids outside of the car just plug everything in and remove the bulbs from the housings and set them on a piece of plastic around the headlight. Just be careful you don't touch the bulb while it's on. You will also be able to see if the return wire is arcing on the body of the car. In that case you'll need to move the bulb to another location to test it.
I've got one ballist that has in and out, and then goes to somethign that says start on it, its a smaller version of the ballist I have the xtec kit.. Tried fuses and switching out those things nouthing worked..
You have what souinds like gen 4 type ballast with external ignitors. Test the ballast by simply removing the whole system and test firing it straight off your battery terminal. Make sure the bulbs are connected or you'll be in for one hell of a arc show lol.
I'm gonna take it to someone to have it checked out, the guy said before maybe my ground wire, rubbing on the IC pipe earlier could have caused a short I hope they can get to the bottom of it..
