Default why do people pay for smoked tails etc??

I dont understand this??

why pay $50 ($120 without cores) for smoked tail lights or pay for smoked heads, corners, etc when you can go straight to home depot or lowes and get stained glass spray paint for $6.00 and do them yourself??

I mean hell, its no different than the honda guys getting the yellow colored stained glass spray paint and painting their fogs yellow to be "jdm"

yet I see people on here all the time trying to sell the sticky plastic overlays and/or painted "smoked" tails?

Well, mine are worth charging because I don't paint the outside of the lens . You get full performance that way because your not filtering out the light by paint. I do the dirty work and go from the inside.

Some people aren't 'do-it yourselfers'... If everyone were, there would be no work for
anyone. I work for a trucking company. Why do people pay good money to haul stuff on
a trailer when they could go out and buy their own trailer and do it cheaper?
