Default Whoa! HIDs rule! Just installed.

I got them yesterday, had them in about 30minutes after the package arrived! They are Hella ballasts and cheapo bulbs, I dont care about bulbs. The kit is 6500K and is super super white on the ground. Below are some pics....

$315 and the bulbs are cheap Liteglow ones... but shit, for cheap, they are BRIGHT! I lost my highbeams, but who needs them.

nice! what kelvin rating are yours at? i parked my car next to my friends TL-s, and RL... my lights look identical to his HIDs. so just look at a CL, TL, or RL, and thats what they look like now most of my friends want a set of HIDs for their cars. go us HID owners!

locally... sorry

only problem i had was wiring... since its just a low kit, it was setup differently in the harness, so it was just some switching of wires!

A great thing to do (especially when you have to mess with the wires) is to rewire the fogs so that they turn on when you activate teh 'high beams'. Since you dont have them with HID's, you can wire it up so it owont cut off the headlights when you click in the highs....this way when you try and flash someone it wont try and 'warm-up' the HID's (which take awhile) instead just flash the fogs. And you will still be abel to drive with all four on!

ALot of new cars have a feature like this (like the VW Toureg) where they have a halogen bulb for 'flashing' purposes since its an instant flash
(these dont turn on with the regular lights, just meant to flash). And they use a mirror in the HID housing to angle the light for high/low beam.

I love the color and look though...so bad-ass

Help a brother out! If you have the wiring schematics and such.. PM them to me or something! Thanks for the compliments and ideas.

I swear, someone stole my front plate this morning officer!

All kiddings aside, I will have my 4300k (I don't want hardly any blue) McCullough kit on by this weekend. Yours look great!
