Default where do you mount your ballasts?

I installed my HIDs this weekend and was curious where every one has installed there ballasts? Passenger side I put it betweent the fender and the ac lines. Driver side I put it behind the battery and ran the wires around the fuse box under the fender. Think that's good or are there better suggestions?

I mounted my ballast above where the intercooler is on the radiator support....(you must remove your bumper to mount it there)

you can use the adjustment screws to re aim the headlights. your dealer should do it for you. next time you take it in for an oil change, just have em aim the lights. they should actually have a machine that does it.

Look down in the slots next to where your headlight bolts up. There you will see the adjuster pole just underneath the front core support loking thru the slot made in it.

My driver side ballast is mounted above my PCM and next to the radiator.
My passenger side ballast is nestled down in between the washer resorvoir and the inner sheet metal for the engine bay. I use ballast covers to help protect my balllasts in the event they MIGHT get wet.

FYI- water and ballasts don't mix too well. Keep that in mind.....

OEM style ballast covers used for Hella Gen 3 or Philips LVQ-212 ballasts.

mine are mounted directly behind the headlights, being that they are gen4 ballasts and are extremely thin..they fit nicely.
