Default Various Headlight Styles Reference Thread

So people are always asking questions about styles of headlight but often nobody is speaking the same language. For example: Ebay Halo's, Modern Performance Projectors, & Depo Projectors with Angle Eyes call mean the same headlight. This makes if difficult to search for information, ask questions, & compare notes with others. So we're goingto give them some names.

For you Retrofitters out there, I'll also be pulling them apart & exposing all their guts for the world to see.

Style A
Characteristics
- 2.5" projector
- 80mm & 90mm OD Halo Rings
- 3 Superflux LED's per headlight
- Bubble Lense (to clear the projector inside)
- Aiming with 2 screw adjustors
- Available in Black & Chrome
- Uses H1 Bulbs
Note: sometimes requires taking the headlight off to access

Style B
Characteristics
- 2.5" projector (different style & smaller then Style A)
- 80mm & 90mm OD Halo Rings
- 3 Superflux LED's per headlight
- Flat Lense
- Aiming with 1 screw adjustor in stock location
- Available in Black, Chrome, & White
Note: This projector has similar looks to Style A but internally the projector looks more similar to Style C

Style C
Charactoristics
- 2.5" projector (different style & smaller then Style A)
- No Halo's or Led's
- Flat Lense
- Aiming with 1 screw adjustor in stock location
- Available in Chrome
- Uses H7 Bulbs

If anyone has a better idea on what to call the different projectors other then "Style A, B, C"... please share. I just did that for simplicity sake.

I believe you need the 9007 as thats what it is plugging into for source from the car. the HIDS have their own universal plugs.

Style A has a decent cutoff compared to style B. I bet both have terrible output.
