I tried green , blue (on a side note , the gauge comes factory with a very light blue "condom" but it really just tones down the light and doesn't show up blue like the dark blue condom), and red. I liked the green alot , subtle change but pretty kewl , but the kids are really diggin the red so I went with that. I figured the boost gauge doesn't match the instrament cluster that great any way so why not. the blue was horrible , couldn't see the needle at all though the light shined very blue like in the posts with the led conversions. If I get bored with the red I'll switch it up to the green darn those blasted mini me's lol. Any way , here's a pic of the red , the pic doesn't show it quite as good as it looks in real life. In the pic it looks like the gauge face is very dim but it's not it's actually pretty well lit up and crisp looking and the needle is very visible as are the numbers , numbers aren't as bright as stock though. I should have thought to get pics of all the different colors for comparisson sake but didn't.

P.S. any one looking for a subtle change , I think you'd be ultra impressed with the green condom <--- soon as this wears off on the kids , I'll be goin with that I think lol.
If you want 100x better clarity and more light then you need to go with a 194 wide angle led from www.autolumination.com
It will shine the majority of its light directly at the back of the gauge, it replaces the stock bulb, its lasts alot longer, and you dont need to wrap it with a condom (everyone like is bare anyways).

yeah for sure , I was mainly just messing around after reading some posts with people asking about the condoms , I gotta tell ya though , I really liked the green condom , looked great , very subtle change and actually seemed to go much better with the stock cluster. I initially wanted to do the blue gauges conversion , but until I'm ready to replace the boost gauge with one that will highlight the needle I think it's pointless. thanx for the link though , goin there when I do go blue
