The problem that you will face is that the display will become very dark, and almost unreadable during daylight hours. I did the inverse to my ODO display in the cluster (green to red). It matches and looks great at night, but it's almost impossible to see during the day

You can buy some blue film to experiment with from craft stores like Michael's. That way you won't have to worry about permanently damaging your gauge.

to tint it is really useless.
It is a LED display. You cannot change LEDs to blue with cellophane or tint.
Impossible.
But - you could try to find a blue led-display like this in the right size:

Easy: solder in and modify the resistors...

That's what i will do once i finally get the AEM...

I can't figure out why AEM doesn't just offer different color options? Seems like a good idea to me

BTW, the film does work. I've done it. But, like I said, it'll make it too dark to see in the daytime

I know. It's green, which I changed to red. I've also put blue over a red VFD, LED display, and incandescent lighting. It doesn't really matter. Light is light, no matter the source. I didn't say it would be perfect. Far from it, actually. I just wanted to point out that, while not exactly the perfect fix, it can be tinkered with on a rather rudimentary level (with varying levels of success). Not trying to start an argument at all

Oh, and I have a BFA. Trust me, I know color

AEM WB needs new LEDS. I've seen someone do replacements for them online. I think someone on eBay even offers to do them for you for a fee.

x2 on odo being impossible to see during the day once you put the tint odo lol. But its worth it, ive got blue gauges, red odo and red blinkers

If your going to buy a new wideband(does the color bug you that much? If i were you id sell the red wideband and buy a blue one lol), get the innovate or the prosport wb. Both of those can be purchased blue.

or Like vamp said, check online to see about switching out the leds in the wb itself.

If you're really gung-ho about it, then just pick up an Autometer Cobalt wideband. Already blue.
