Default Taillight is scratched, can it be fixed?

I have a 1 inch scratch swirl on my tailights. I think it was dropped from the guy i purchased them from. Anyways, is there any way to get that scratch out or am i stuck with it?

if it can't be fixed/patched, i'll just find a local junkyard and see if the owner would be kind enough to allow a swap..
it's just the driver side that is scratched. sorry, i didn't make that clear in my original post.

Wet sand with very fine grit paper and then buff it back to a shine.
