I got a red one and a white one a month or so ago to test in my boost gauge. The white was too damn bright for night driving. Currently using the red and it's awesome. Extremely even and consistant brightness.
So, I have that spare white one and that means I only need to spend $45 more now lol.
I'm looking into doing this since two of the stock gauge bulbs burned out in the past week. One on the granny side of the speedo and the other under the water temp. Same reason I replaced the boost gauge lamp..heh. So, if you have 70K+ on your car and you run the parking/headlights all the time, you may want to stock up.
ive been moving into my house. i tried to take pics last night but they were blurry. got my tripod now so after i finish benchwarmerss i will get a few pics up
pics added
