Yup, DEPOs say "DEPO" on the outer lens where you see that small embossed writing specifying that is SAE and DOT compliant, which is obviously a joke LOL.

DEPO doesn't make a blacked out headlight for us like those. Only Eagle Eye.

you need to have that piece on. Without, your halogen reflector is no longer operating how it should and will obviously blind people.

Just take it apart as username suggested. I'd do the other one too as its probably only a matter of time before that one falls apart on you.

I've had those pieces fall off right in my hands the times I've unfortunatly had to work on those headlights from EE.

Use a heat gun or if you don't have a heat gun, use a hair dryer or the ole oven method. Heat not on the lens itself but right where the lens slides into the housing. That is where the butyl sealant is and that's where you need to apply the heat to loosen it up.

To put it back together, simply align the lens on the housing. Push firm to get a good start. Then apply heat to loosen the butyl again so you can really push the lens back on. Use clamps if you wish to get an even tighter seal. Then apply a small bead of silicone of hot glue. I prefer hot glue as it won't deteriorate over time plus creates a bond.

Its not the hard with the cheap ebay ones. Throw it in the oven for like 10 min, the front lense peice will pop right off. Then heat them back up again when you are done to seal them back up.
